How This Update Affects You…

For All Administrators and Owners:

  • Ability to import training matrix
    • Now, you may upload your training matrix template directly into the LMS. Previously, you needed to enter each course individually through auto assign.
  • Ability to send reports automatically on a quarterly basis
    • The frequency options on emailing reports have been increased to include the first of every quarter.
  • Other minor updates to increase functionality of system
    • This includes the addition of the time zone to each column reporting time, as well as the reparation of some minor bugs.

For Learners

  • Course Time-Out
    • All SafetySkills courses will now time-out after a period of inactivity. This is to reduce the time you are in the course without interacting with the course content, and helps prevent user errors.

What Changed?

When sending reports automatically, administrators now also have the option to send reports at the first of every quarter. Additionally, all Super Administrators and Owners will notice they now have the ability to import a full training matrix to the system. Previously, the system required the user to enter each course individually through the Automatic Assigning tab. The system now allows for the entire spreadsheet to be uploaded, and will send an email to the user once the upload has been completed.

Courses will now time-out for all users after a period of inactivity. If the user is not interacting with the course for a period greater than five minutes, the course will prompt the user to close and restart the module. This is to prevent any errors related to leaving courseware open for extended periods of time.
