On March 24, 2017 and April 19, 2017, SafetySkills published an update to our course interface that may affect reporting.
Included in this update:
- Improved course communication and reporting.
- Finished assignments will report a lesson status of “Passed” instead of “Completed” to better align with the SCORM and AICC standards.
- All courses will report a score of 0 when launched or incomplete, and will report a score of 100 once they are passed.
How This Update Affects You
For Administrators, Super Administrators and Owners in the SafetySkills LMS with the default SafetySkills Interface:
- All finished courses will show a lesson status of “Passed” instead of “Completed.”
- On the reports page, there is a column for “Lesson Status.” Currently, the lesson status shows as “Completed” for non-traditional/non-scored courses and “Passed” for traditional/scored courses.
- If you have reports filtering specifically for “Completed” status, you will need to update those reports to include a filter for “Passed.” Courses finished before March 24, 2017 will remain with their lesson status as is.
- After March 24, 2017, you can contact SafetySkills to request that all assignments in your account be changed from “Completed” to “Passed” to align previous and future assignment lesson statuses.
