Your Empower account comes with a list of pre-loaded controls. All controls are initially found in the Archived Tab and controls to your operations and identified hazards will be moved into the Active Tab during the onboarding phase. Controls may be switched between tabs at any time to match operational safety assessments (JHA, JSA, or other). Select Controls and click on the Archived tab to view al the controls available for selection
Archived Controls
- Listed in the Archived Controls tab, select any one to view details. Move to Active via the ‘Select An Action’ drop-down button.
Active Controls
- Listed in the Active Hazards tab, select any one to view details. Move to Archived via the ‘Select An Action’ drop-down button
New Controls
- Unlike with Hazards, you may add you own controls. Click Create New Control, enter the control name, select the appropriate control category (from the hierarchy of controls), then add a description.
- Click Create
