    Update to the SafetySkills Learning Management System

    Version 12.3 of the SafetySkills LMS was published on September 13, 2020. This update primarily focuses on changes to the purchase of Direct credits, taking Custom Courses in the LMS, and a few general maintenance updates.

    How This Update Affects You…

    For Direct accounts, change to purchasing credits:

    • At this time all purchases for Direct credits must use an address in the United States.
    • If you are outside the United States one of our accounting personnel will be able to take a credit card payment over the phone. Please call us at 888-844-3549 or 405-563-6656, option 3, between 8 AM and 5 PM Central US time.

    For All Users:

    Update for custom courses taken in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge recently made changes that have negativity impacted some custom courses uploaded to our system. It appears these courses were intermittently unable to mark as completed when taken in one of these browsers. We have updated our LMS to account for the browser changes, which should allow these custom courses to complete accurately.

    Update on Display Settings page welcome email text: Recently there was an issue with the “Display Settings” page incorrectly displaying the Welcome email text, on occasion. This issue did not affect emails sent, but only the text appearing properly on the Display Settings page. This issue is now resolved and all text should appear accurately.

    Update to the SafetySkills courses…

    On September 16, 2020 required maintenance was performed on the SafetySkills courses, specifically the question frames. These updates are an extension of the changes Google Chroma and Microsoft Edge have made, and plan to make in the future, that affect how the questions function.
